Becca and I hosted a baby shower for our friend Kari. Her cake below is a Mario Bro. Mushroom. She loves anything Nintendo! Even better than the way it looked was the way it tasted. Like a freaking Twinkie!!! Yum.

We found a spot on Lake Travis that is only 17 miles from our house. Woo hoo!

Degan thinks he can swim. Thank goodness it's only a foot and a half deep. Believe it or not, he can hold his breath for quite a while, and does kick while he's under.

We are trying to keep as cool as we can. That means a lot of time at the lake, splash park, and pool. Hope everyone else is keeping cool this summer too.
