What are the top-three things on your lifelong to-do list?

Real Simple asks their readers the best questions. I really liked reading the answers to this months question: "What are the top-tree things on your lifelong to-do list? In fact I thought I would ask you, my family and friends your "top-three". I'll go first
  • Write a children's book some day (really so that I can read it to my kids at bed time).
  • Create something so freakin' great, and sell it to everyone!
  • Ride the train through Europe with the Hubby.

I can't wait to see what you all have on your top-three. I know there will be some surprises.

~Our little helper~

Degan learning how to use power tools. Helping Daddy water the grass
We have the cutest little boy. He wants to be involved in every little thing Daddy does. What ever chore Bobby sets out to tackle, there Degan is. Mowing the lawn, there's Degan. Building a shelf, there's Degan. Yesterday, Bobby was pulling weeds and watering the lawn. There was Degan, not 5 feet away, doing as Daddy was. Pulling weeds. He's such a cute little helper.

I need a designer eye...

I'm also excepting knock-offs ;-) I have this blank canvas before me, and wouldn't you know it... Creative block! I am loving greens, and yellows. Any ideas? All you creative divas out there... What do you think?

I have this huge space on this half wall. What do I do with it? I was going to get a cool large vase. This wall separates the living room from the dining room. What colors should I pair with my couch? I was thinking yellow. I have a red throw on in, but I've have had red in all of my houses in the past. I love this table. It's an antique. I want to eventually replace the chairs. For now I am happy with it though. I need to do something with the walls still. Maybe a cool jute rug. I am loving the kids bathroom. I think the dots work well for a co-ed bath. I still need a few more minor details. All in good time.

below: just another angle of the kiddo's bath.

I am slowly getting things done. one room at a time. On my way to work on the entry way. Buddha is lonely.

Welcome Home!

Here we are, in Round Rock, in our very own, very new home. We closed on Wednesday the 11th, and spent our very first night on the floor. LOL! Still I got one of the best nights sleep. I guess it doesn't matter where you lay your head, just as long as it's home. This is definitely our home! As Kathy would say... "Our happily ever after on earth." Buddha finally has a home now too! Now Bobby can rub his belly as he leaves the house. Here is my husband sitting on the floor, when he has a perfectly nice couch to sit on behind him. Lol. What a goof. I would post more pictures of the house, but it is still a work in progress. I will get some up soon.
