Bye Bye Binky!

Well Degan has done it! He quit cold turkey. On the Drive to Texas I noticed that he would get mad and throw his pacifire. Which is odd, considering how much he loved that thing. Since we've been here, he wants nothing to do with it. He simply spits it out when I try to give it to him. I can't say I am entirely thrilled about it. It means he is getting older and becoming a little boy. He's not a baby anymore. Can you believe he is already 10 months old! He'll be 1 in April! Yikes!

Well I have to start off by saying I am sorry for being M.I.A. We have been so busy, trying to get acclamated at Lynda's, hunting for a place to live, and getting our finances in order. It is a lot of work to move to another state! I am also sorry for not posting any pictures of our kids and the homes we are looking at. I am going to get out my camera today and make sure I get some cute pictures of them! If you want to look at the house we are interested in, go to www.standardpacifichomes.com and look up the city of Round Rock Texas, outside of Austin. We like the Montgomery B home. We cant decide wich lot we want yet... It is just to many options to choose the right one. I have yo decide today or tomorrw though or they wil take them both of hold. Which is not good because they are both golf course lots. Those lots are going really fast. There are only 2 home builders with golf course lot left. Which reminds me I need to call our guy soon. I'll keep you posted. And let me know what you think about the Montgomery home. I could really use everyones opinion. Anything you have to offer would be appreciated! Love you all, and miss you too!

We are here!!!

Well we made it. We got to Lynda's on the 28th around 5 p.m.. It was a long trip. An emotional one too. I was able not to cry... Until we pulled away from Rob and Kath's house. It was probably the hardest thing to see, my sister, and Syd standing at the door watching us leave. Our California family is so important to us, and it makes me so sad to think I can't do the things I do all the time with them anymore. Syd said that she was going to try to hang out with Shannon, and that makes me feel better that they will keep each other company. We are staying with the Carmack's for a little while, until we figure out the city we want to live in. Bobby goes back to work on the 4th, and he will see what job will be best for him. I feel like we are on a perma-vacation. Nan is here with us and we are staying with family, so it feels a little surreal right now. I can't believe we are actually here in Texas. I'll keep you posted on whats to come for us wannabee Texan Californians!

Disneyland

Minnie asked to hold Degan, she just got down on the ground and held her hands out! Cinderella's mice did the same thin with Bry, later in the day! Pluto followed Minnie's example and got down low for Kodi. I'm so glad she's not afraid anymore! Laney picked this pretty butterfly. Kodi had to have Tinka-Bewl! They painted her face in less that 2 min. It was lightning fast! Kodi sat so still too. The lady who painted her face was so impressed. (below) Degan watching the ducks... don't worry Daddy is Right there. I made him move out of the shot!

Well we went to Disneyland yesterday with our friends Ryan and Marcy. They have two kids the same ages as ours. Laney (2) and Brysen (7 mo.). Kodi Lynn absolutely loves Laney! They had such a fun time together. We got their faces painted while we were there, and the thought they were such hot stuff! He he! Degan and Bry just liked watching their sisters run around like crazy girls! We really are going to miss them.

Well Tiff I just sent you an email asking directions on how to post a msg. Guess I didn't need them after all. So you are on your way to Texas. We pray for a safe trip for you and Bobby and the kids. Poor Degan has not been himself the last couple of days. He has had some high fevers for the last two days. He is the best sick baby too. He just wants to be held. He wont cry, just wants you to hold him close.

Texas or Bust!

Well we finally got our date to be in Texas. We have to be there on the 4th of Feb. I am really stressed at the moment. I am full of mixed emotions... I am so sad to be leaving home, but at the same time so excited to be buying a home. I am really trying to be open minded, and positive about this move. We love it here in California and will miss everything here and everyone as well! I have gone into planning mode. My calender is full of things to get done in the next 4 weeks. (Thank you Letti for my Christmas present by the way.) I will keep everyone posted on what is store for us in the upcoming weeks. Wish me luck!

Happy 2008

Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe New Years. Bobby and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on the 31st. Time has gone by so fast. I am loving every day, hour, minute, second of my marriage, and family life. Happy New year family and friends.

Final touch (below) How lovely are thy Branches. We went to go and get our Christmas Tree yesterday. Kodi Lynn slept through it, but Degan had a good old time. He's never seen so much green before :) When we got home the kids loved helping Daddy and me decorate. They both put on their special ornaments.

Degan's 1st Tooth!

Yes! Finally a tooth. I am so happy. Now he can start taking a bottle, and I don't have to feel guilty. He's getting so big!

Santa... Again...

Yup we had to see Santa again. I really wanted to get a more traditional Santa picture, like the ones I had when I was a kid. Kodi Lynn did so good, she ran right up to him. I was so happy! She didn't want to leave either. It was a lot of fun, and I got to do some more Christmas shopping while I was out too! Yesss!

Santa!

We went to Disneyland on Wed. with Shannon, Letti, her girls, and Nan. We got to see Santa and sit on his lap. Kodi wouldn't smile, but a least she sat on his lap. I am going to try to get her to smile for the camera next time so I can have a cute Christmas card. Wish me luck!

Getting Ready!

Well here I am one day left until we leave for Texas for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see the family. I still have a lot to do but I just wanted to keep everyone posted on whats coming up. Kodi Lynn and Degan are going to meet their Great Grandpa Mac for the first time. I am so excited. And the Texas family finally gets to meet Degan! Yeah! We are very excited to go. We wish we could be with all of the family on the holiday. Sorry Autie Shannon and Nona Joni. We love you and wish all of you a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Kodi Lynn and Degan had such a great time this Halloween. They both were the most adorable bugs ever ( thanks Mom). Our family hosted the 2nd annual Halloween Open House in Grand Terrace. The park across the street has the city Halloween haunt/carnival, so we get a lot of trick-o-treaters. We love getting together with all of our friends and family. It's such a "treat" to see everyone dressed up and having fun. Next year you should really stop bye and join in the fun if you couldn't this year.

Wow Sorry for my absence! Life gets going, and you forget those small but important things in your life. I promise to be more on top of it. Hope everyone had a great Halloween. The kids had such a blast. Check back soon for an update.

Well we went to Degans 4 month Doctors appointment. The nurse went to weigh him and was puzzled that the scale did not budge at 12 lbs., and at 13 lbs. I was cracking up, and at 15, and finally he tipped the scale at 16 lbs. and 11 oz. :) Man he really is a chunk. He's getting so big! We are having so much fun, our little family of four!

Florida Fun!

Well we went to Florida for my Mom's wedding and Kodi had a blast! She loved playing with John's boys! David (the oldest) played with her the entire time we were there. Mom looked beautiful, and Kodi looked so cute in her dress she made me teary eyed. She is getting so big so fast. So is Degan, I tried to cuddle with him this morning and he took up my whole torso. Is it possible to keep them a s they are? Am I asking to much? Oh well.

Update

Well the house has hit a stand still! Sonny is asking more for it! $329,000 is a lot of money. And banks are not really offering very good APR's to 1st time home buyers. Not happy about it, but hopefully it wont sell and they will have to take our price. We'll see. I know they want to get out of it. Keep your fingers crossed!

Fingers Crossed

O.K well here's the skinny! We are trying to buy a house! Can you believe it. We just started the paper work! It's Sonny's house on Douglas Street in Yucaipa! It's so cute and has an apartment on the property, witch we have already found some one to rent it for $1,000 a month! I am so excited! Bobby and I have started watching all the HGTV home improvement shows for cute ideas. Keep you fingers crossed for us! I'll keep you posted.

Ok I have not blogged in a while, but in my defense I have been on Vacation in Oregon, and Bobby has Family in Utah down visiting! I know excuses... Blah blah blah... I know you all are forgiving though ;) Here are some updates on the family... Bobby: Working hard as usual. A little to hard... we have to cut Texas out of our vacation because he just can't take the much time of work. So he's hopefully going to be able to take time off in late September to make it out to Texas. Tiffany: Well I an doing fine. I finally think I have figured out how to be a mommy of two! It's not easy, but I am doing my very best, and I love them so much that it's worth every second. Good and bad. Kodi Lynn: I don't know if she can get any more girlie! All she want to do is play with her "Rella's" (Disney Princesses) and watch "Ayol" (Ariel the Little Mermaid). And trying to get her to wear anything other than a "pretty" (a dress) is a full on battle. Lately, Letti my sister-in-law has been giving the family a weekly challenge, and this week is reading to your kids one book every night, and she is love with the "New Baby Train" and "Do Princesses really Kiss Frogs". We are really enjoying the challenge. Degan: He is still quite the Chunk! He is giggling more than ever now and really trying to use those hands. He always has his hand in his mouth just gumming away on it. He is just getting so big to fast. Can you believe he will be three months on Wed. Well that the news on these Bowlers. I'll keep you posted on all the excitement!
